   The Rongcheng Die-Casting Company Ltd.of Chongqing is located in the High-tech Industrial Garden of Chongqing City.It is a private-owned enterprise which mainly produces cylinder bodies for matorcycles,repair parts for automoble air-conditioners.cy linder heads for all-purpose engine and the like .The company serves as a backbone support factory for such big enterprises as Zongshen Group、Longxin Group、Jialing Group、and Construction Group.

Introduction of Ion Cylinder Body-Suitable for Motor Tricycles To produce the ion cylinder body,the interior surface of cylinder liner is heated with an ion beam at super high spccd and has a mesh-like ion-hardencd layer formed on itself.As a beam with high energy density,the ion beam can have a core temperature of 10000℃,With such an ion beam bating the interior surface of cylinder liner,a steep temperature gradient will be formed such that a thin layer of the cylinder liner interior surface warms up rapidly with a tempcrature of above its phase transition point .After the ion beam is removed,the heated region cools down rapidly due to conduction of the cylinder liner inself,thus forming a fine structure of high hardness like white iron or hidden acieular martensite.Hardness of normal phosphide-vanadium cast iron and boride cast iron is 300IIV,In conlrasl.after being hardened by ion.it can reach 800~900HV with a depth of 0.10~0.25mm.With a structure of hidden acicular martensite and flake graphite,the hardened region at the interior of the cylinder body becomes a hard skeleton.Since the pison ring is in constant contact and allrition with the hardened region while reciprocating inside the cylinder lincr,the wear resistance o the cylinder liner will be significanty improved.According to fast wear experimenls on ion cylinder liner assenmbly of motorcycles.the attrition wear is only 0.015~0.02mm after constant running of 400 hours,Which translates to a service life tree timcs of that of normal cylinder body.
